I run Cookston Crafts from my home in Aberdeenshire and teach crochet workshops and also design and sell crochet kits.
This is a kit for a Knitted Chunky Beanie Hat. It has two options, one very basic stocking stitch pattern suitable for beginners and a cable option for those looking to improve their skills.
Perfect for knitting lovers to sample luxury alpaca yarn and totally achievable in one evening.
The baby alpaca yarn is sooooo soft and squishy and will keep you very cosy this winter. The yarn has been hand dyed by myself with professional acid dyes. My yarns are always meticulously rinsed until the water runs clear but some dye may bleed as with all hand dyed items.
Spot cleaning or a very mild handwash recommended. Dry flat.
THIS IS NOT THE FINISHED ARTICLE.
Full instructions are given to help you get started with it and over come any tricky bits.
Due to small parts this is not suitable for children under 3.
Each kit contains, instructions, 100g chunky baby alpaca yarn, 6mm 40cm knit pro basix circular needle, a stitch marker, polyester stuffing, a pre cut circle of faux fur and strong thread.
You will need a darning needle to sew in the ends and to stitch and gather the pom pom.
