Electric Blue is a punchy vibrant cobalt blue semi solid colourway. The Baby Alpaca Cashmere / Silk Blend is a truly wonderful non superwash yarn with amazing softness neck to the skin and a gorgeous drape.
As it is non super wash yarn, it must be hand washed and colourways will appear a little paler than you’d see on a suprwash merino for example.
It has been hand dyed by myself, Claire Bentley at Cookston Crafts in Aberdeenshire.
This yarn has been dyed using various colours of professional acid dyes.

Non Superwash
These have been washed, rinsed and line dried.Although I have tried to photograph this yarn in plenty natural light, the actual colour may vary slightly to the way the image is presented on your screen.The yarn has been rinsed until the water runs clear, however some bleeding MAY occur and handwashing in a lukewarm solution with wool detergent would be recommended. Do not soak or wring. Do not tumble dry.Made in a smoke free home with love and care x
Whether you want a quick winter project or are buying this for a gift, the hand dyed yarn will elevate a very simple chunky knit hat into something truly unique. Suitable for beginners who can knit, purl and decrease.
The Merino yarn is so soft and squishy and will keep you very cosy. The yarn has been hand dyed by myself with professional acid dyes.
My yarns are always meticulously rinsed until the water runs clear but some dye may bleed as with all hand dyed items.
Spot cleaning or a very mild handwash recommended. Dry flat.

40cm 6mm knit pro zing circular needle
a trimits pom pom with ribbon attachment
Chocolate Chai is 100% Merino Fingering Weight yarn with a new treatment which uses an enzyme rather than a regular superwash treatment.
These yarns bring all the benefits of non superwash yarn with improved dye uptake and more resistance to shrinkage.
It has less environmental impact than superwash and it behaves like a non superwash yarn - no stretch and the dye uptake is almost identical to superwash yarn. A great middle ground for those looking for non superwash yarns.
