Damson is on a Merino Silk Blend. A truly fabulous yarn with an amazing drape and sheen. This is a variegated yarn with varying tones of pink and burgundy. Lovely stitch definition due to the single ply construction.

This yarn is dyed with an assigned pooliing technique so it would be suitable for lots of these specific projects like those designed by Dawn Barker or the Romantasy shawl in the final picture.

It has been hand dyed by myself, Claire Bentley at Cookston Crafts in Aberdeenshire.

This yarn has been dyed using various colours of professional acid dyes.
