These yarns bring all the benefits of non superwash yarn with improved dye uptake and more resistance to shrinkage.
It has less environmental impact than superwash and it behaves like a non superwash yarn - no stretch and the dye uptake is almost identical to superwash yarn. A great middle ground for those looking for non superwash yarns.
It has been hand dyed by myself, Claire Bentley at Cookston Crafts in Aberdeenshire.
This yarn has been dyed to give a tonal effect using various colours of professional acid dyes

Non Super Wash
These have been washed, rinsed and line dried.
Although I have tried to photograph this yarn in plenty natural light, the actual colour may vary slightly to the way the image is presented on your screen.
The yarn has been rinsed until the water runs clear, however some bleeding MAY occur and handwashing in a lukewarm solution with wool detergent would be recommended. Do not soak or wring. Do not tumble dry.
