Barra - Merino Nylon Fingering Weight Yarn
Barra is Superwash Merino / Nylon Blend Sock Weight yarn. It was one of the popular colours from the Advent Calendar in 2022. A soft lilac purple with blue grey tones and blue speckles.
It has been hand dyed by myself, Claire Bentley at Cookston Crafts in Aberdeenshire.
This yarn has been dyed to give a tonal effect using various colours of professional acid dyes

75% Superwash Merino
25% Nylon
These have been washed, rinsed and line dried.
Although I have tried to photograph this yarn in plenty natural light, the actual colour may vary slightly to the way the image is presented on your screen.
The yarn has been rinsed until the water runs clear, however some bleeding MAY occur and handwashing in a lukewarm solution with wool detergent would be recommended. Do not soak or wring. Do not tumble dry.
