Beginners Knitting Workshop

This knitting class will take place in person over the course of three weeks.

The class takes place in my workshop space, on the outskirts of Ellon, Aberdeenshire. This will be a fun, welcoming class and is suitable for complete beginners - even if you haven't held knitting needles before!

We will work on a small baby’s hat and you will learn all the basic stitches:

• Cast on

• Knit

• Purl

• Increasing

• Decreasing

• Cast Off

  The workshop will be very flexible so we will adapt the pattern dependent on ability and progress.

You will also learn about:

• Fixing dropped stitches

• Yarn weight and hook size

• Reading from a pattern - feel free to bring a particular pattern you’d like to try.

A ball of yarn, 4mm needles and refreshments will be provided.

Classes are limited to 6 people to ensure everyone gets ample teaching time and there will be plenty space for social distancing.

The workshop will be non-refundable if cancelled within 7 days prior to the workshop start date.

Payment must be made in full prior to secure your space.

Directions will be emailed to you separately once the booking has been made.
